Interfaith Community Partners (a service for older adults)

Description:
Interfaith Community Partners (ICP) is a coalition of 13 local churches (of which SFX is a member)that trains volunteers who provide services to older adults.  These services include assisted transportation, friendly visitation,  telephone reassurance and caregiver support groups.

Time Commitment:
The time commitment varies with the type of service provided.  Assisted transportation happens on an as needed basis, requiring anything from the time it takes to drive and drop off , to assistance getting into and during an appointment. Friendly visitation occurs twice monthly, for a total time commitment of 1 hour.
