Religious Ed Catechists

Description:
Thank you for considering the call to minister to the children of our Parish community thru our Religious Education Program.  This ministry will find you growing on your spiritual journey, as well as being there for our children on their journey.  Let us together live in the spirit of service that was taught to us and given to us by Jesus; the same spirit which was given to us at our baptism and which brought us to making this YES commitment.

Time Commitment:
Catechists teach once a week (a Wednesday or Sunday session) and usually attend a meeting at the beginnning and end of each year.  Some weekly additional planning/prep time is necessary as well.  It is an expectation that catechists become certified.  Certification happens at the Archdiocesan level.
