Support Our Sharing Parish: St. Agatha

The relationship between the parish communities of St. Francis Xavier and St. Agatha was established in 1983, when the Chicago Archdiocese instituted the Sharing Parish Program.  Since that time, there have been many shared events between our two parishes, with parishioners from both parishes participating in a variety of activities, as well as worship and celebration.

St. Agatha Parish is located at 3147 Douglas Avenue in Chicago's North Lawndale community.

Each year, St. Francis Xavier sponsors a Christmas Toy Shower for the families of St. Agatha parish. We have also been privileged to help support several high school students with tuition, so that they could continue to work toward graduation from Catholic schools.
